What a month this has turned out to be. I've been very happy with all the progress of the past couple of months, both with my new website and some significant projects under way, but recent weeks have brought challenges that really threw off my rhythm. A week ago today, I hydroplaned on the Interstate and had a spectacular wreck. My car is done for, but somehow I am relatively unharmed. So I'm very thankful for life right now! Yesterday I got my 2nd Moderna shot, and I'm a little achy and low on energy, but otherwise I seem to be one of the fortunate ones who are getting a mild reaction.
So that's why there hasn't been anything new on my podcast lately. Production hasn't halted, it's just been delayed. Similarly, for those showing interest in my upcoming poetry anthology, don't worry, it's still happening. I've compiled a lot of content and I need to make final decisions about what stays in and what gets cut. Then I have some design work to do, so that it can be an attractive e-book. Truth be told, it's not a ton of work; it just requires time and energy that I haven't had lately. So here's to a productive summer! Many thanks to those of you who keep an eye on my updates and have supported me in various ways.
